Our 4th Buddy Walk is Sunday!

Wow! Can you believe it? This will be the fourth time we've been to a Buddy Walk and that means that Allie is ALMOST 4 years old!!!  Time is really going by too fast. And this year seems to have flown past faster than all the rest. We have been so busy we haven't been able to update this blog much at all!  It is not for lack of progress on Allie's part, that if FOR SURE!  As the busy Mommy, I'm going to have to find a way to work this into my schedule. But, before another minute went by I wanted to invite you all to come out to our Buddy Walk on Sunday. We'd love to have you walk with us! I know many of you live far away and we understand if you can't make it. We ask that you spread the word about Down Syndrome (and really all special needs individuals). These people are wonderful and individual just like everyone else. They want the same things we all want - to be loved, to be included, to have friends, to work, to support themselves and to be treated equally.  Oh, and in Allie's case - to move and never stop dancing.

This little girl is a mover and a shaker. We chase her everywhere. She has so much energy and clearly God gave her self-recharging batteries.  She is such a blessing to us. I don't think a day goes by we don't say how lucky we are or how cute she is or "look.. isn't she adorable".  Yes, we know this type of spoiling will probably haunt us, but she really is just that cute!!  She is also very sweet. Oh, don't get me wrong. She is 3 1/2 and she loves to test people and she is all into her doing it her way (right or wrong). But, she is perfectly her and perfectly 3 1/2 and anyone that has had a 3 1/2 year old knows that when I say that I mean it... doesn't mean we don't get exhausted, but we go to sleep very happy and counting our blessings.  She is one terrific little girl.

If you haven't given to a charity this year and just wondering where to send that small or large donation (I truly believe that if everyone would share small amounts, it would all add up and help so many people), please consider either walking with us or making a donation. To do so go to:
to donate, simply click on DONATE. To walk with us, please click on the TEAM tab, then click on GET STARTED then REGISTER. It is that simple and every $5 and $10 donation really adds up and benefits some wonderful programs that will help Allie and all of us for many years.

We hope to see you on Sunday!
