Mommy, what's a Graduation Day?

Well, Allie... Graduation Day is a day that means you reached all of your goals and can start the next step of your wonderful life.

Yes, everyone... the day is FAST approaching! If Allie continues to be the star performer we've grown to know, she will find out what HOME really means. Monday is the anticipated day! Tim and I will stay in a room with Allie Saturday night and all day Sunday (this is so the hospital can get some comfort in knowing that we can take care of Allie and it also gives us a chance to ask those final questions and get help while the NICU staff is a second away). And... if all the stars are aligned properly, Allie will come home on Monday!!!!!!

We are so excited and so ready, too! Of course, I'm not sure if the NICU folks realize how close we live and that I have their number programmed into speed dial. Yes... we will visit and I'll probably sneak in an "advice" question from time to time.

Stay posted for fun at home pictures (okay, you'll probably see more at hospital pictures first). Gotta run... Baby needs some Mommy time before work (alright! I hear you... it really is that Mommy needs some sweet Baby time before work.) Whatever... off to see my angel!

Have an awesome Friday and keep us in your thoughts this weekend. Allie needs to continue to go without oxygen, take all of her food by bottle and not be too cute or too sweet to make them want to keep her.

Oh... P.S. This seems to be Birthday week for several of our family and friends. Allie wanted to wish a very Happy Birthday Week to Uncle Kevin, Cousin Wendy, Auntie Shea, Jason and Hannah (happy 9th Birthday, Hannah!) O'Brien. (Oh.. Happy Birthday from Tim and I, too).

Jenny,

Yeah! A volunteer! I appreciate it and will NOT forget that you are close by. I told Melissa several months ago that thought I was going to "need a Jenny". Thanks, it is very sweet of you to look out for me and my little girl. I can't wait for you to meet her!

Allison!! This is such an exciting day for you! Well, weekend that is. I am so proud of you! I can't believe that you get to come home! You are getting to be such a big girl. Now, remember that since you will be home that you need to remind Mommy and Daddy that Auntie Trisha is going to come babysit you any weekend they want! I can't wait to hear how you do at home! Keep up the good work little one!

Love you baby!

Love, Auntie Trisha
