Dress up time is so much fun for a baby... okay, for a mommy, too. Allie is patient and seems not to mind too much. One of Allie's NICU buddies, Marley gave Allie this little dress. We put it on Allie to celebrate Marley's graduation day. Yeah, Marley! I bet home is fantastic!! Thanks for the dress... do you want it back now that you see how cute it is? :-)
So, what is Allie like? Well, patient, serious, curious (I think) and sleepy. Notice, I didn't mention hungry. We did awesome with the meals since leaving the NICU Although she can be a bit finicky from time to time. Overall, she is still eating well. Her personality continues to develop. She has begun to let out a little wail when she isn't happy with what you are doing. It is kind of like a warning shot. It goes like this: Allie is being held and Mommy is talking nonstop. Allie gives Mommy a look that might say "this is boring!". Mommy continues to coo and kiss and and hug and talk to baby. Then, Allie says "Waah" and throws in a "look". S o, as you can tell, she is brilliant and can comunicate wonderfully. She also talks. Yep! She sure does. She makes sounds a lot and then moves her lips. So, she isn't saying words yet, but she has something to say and is trying to say it.
That's our little girl!
