Rocking and Rolling Baby

Hello everyone! I'm Allie! I can move all around and make serious faces, too. What'cha think about that?

So... want some stats on me? I'm 1 year, 3 weeks and 1 day old. I weigh 11 pounds and 6 ounces, I'm about 26 inches long. I can give you sloppy kisses, hugs when I'm in a hugging mood and I can call out for you, too.

I can roll and put a lot of weight on my legs. I really want to stand and crawl and when I am standing - with a lot of help of course - I am so proud of myself. It took a lot of work to get this far and I just beam with happiness when I'm standing. I'm still a very happy baby and enjoy meeting new people. I do like to take the whole situation in... I contemplate my surroundings Mommy says. But, I love to smile and play and giggle, too. I have one tooth - there was debate on if it was one or two, but it is one that is in the center of my mouth - on the bottom. It is slanted and therefore looks like two. Go ahead.. put her finger in my mouth. I dare you! It works really good and causes Mommy to yelp. Oh.. and guess what I can do now? I can tell you I want MORE in sign language! I've been practicing, but yesterday I got it down pat. Mommy wonders if I'll keep doing it today, but I did it a lot yesterday.

I'm still enjoying a lot of flexibility, too. Toes still taste great and they are entertaining when I'm not in the mood to search out a toy.

When I'm in the mood for a toy, this is one of my current favorites from Aunt Sandy. I can spin all the ducks and it keeps me entertained. But, keep in mind... so do my feet. :-)

TADA! I love to put my hands in the air. Dr. Cordo says it is my Touchdown pose. I think Auntie Moe-Moe agrees. I've got Daddy trained, when I do this... he claps his hands and says Yeah, Girl! It is a lot of fun. Mommy does it, too, but Daddy I've trained Daddy to do it all the time.

This is me playing in my living room. Mommy says I'm a very determined baby. I reach and rock and roll to get to my toys. I was also waiting on lunch to be made, so I am a bit hungry. I knew it was coming, though, so I wasn't fussy. What do you think of all that I can do now?

Okay... enough about me. How are you doing and what can you do these days?
Love, Allie B. Lovell
