'Twas The Night Before Christmas

And all through the house, not a creature was sleeping, not even a Lil'Bit. Okay, she is finally asleep, but how does a 1 year old know that Santa is coming? She seemed to be in an unusual mood and was fighting sleep a lot. I finally gave up on the rocking and the reading and the singing and we sat down in the living room to watch the rest of the Santa Clause. She watched the rest of it with me and appeared very interested. Then, we let her play on the floor and while she mostly acted like she was about to fall asleep, she just wouldn't do it. I can't imagine what will happen when she really understands about Santa coming to visit!
Oh, and yes... we believe!

Tonight she got to pick out one gift to open. She picked the one that Aunt Shea gave her. Maybe it was the cool Mickey Mouse bag that was the deciding factor. Either way, the gift was a huge hit. Allie played with this really cool phone for a long time.

Here is a video of her playing with it about an hour after opening it.

We hope Santa is good to all of you... that is if YOU'VE been good. We have and we are excited to invite him in for a bit! We are anxiously awaiting the winning lottery ticket we asked him for. Maybe this is the year!!!

May you have a blessed Christmas!
