Hello everyone! I first want to thank you all so much for taking the time to vote for Amazing Allie. We had a fantastic ride with the contest. Our voting closed at 1,449 votes! This was wonderful for us - our goal was to raise awareness with every vote - and we did it! I was so touched by the response we got from everyone - through this blog, through family members (Thanks, Dad!), from coworkers, too. In fact, in Facebook, so many of my friends and friends of friends posted it as their status and votes came in from everywhere and very quickly! I really felt Allie's ability to reach out to so many people and cause action to happen. Although, we did not place in the top 10, which means, we won't win, we raised awareness for Down syndrome - and that is what matters most. And, now, I've found we can help raise MORE awareness! 
There is another family with their own amazing child, Niki. Niki has Down syndrome and must truly be amazing, too, because Niki has 10,766 votes and is currently in 15th position! There 
are only 2 days left to vote. Niki's Grandmother has contacted me and knows I understand the importance of raising awareness. I'd like to personally ask each of Allie's fans to please take a moment and vote for Niki's car. You can vote once a day from each PC and each cell phone with Internet connection you have access to. Will you please help us? Niki could really, truly get into the top 10 if we spread the news quick enough.
