School Days Are Here For Me

Hi there! Wow! Where does the time go? I seems like I just posted a message and it was two weeks ago! Life is busy when you are 1/2 a year old, you know!!

Let's see... what have we been doing? Well... we had doctor appointments, but they are becoming fewer and fewer, so that is good. Best news is that my eyes are looking really good (yes! I can SEE you!) and I've stopped some of the medicine I was on. So... no more viagra jokes, okay? I'm down to only 6 doses of medicine a day. Considering I was getting about 18 doses a day, I'm happy and we seem to now have so many available hours in our day to play!

I also went and visited my new school. Yep! I'm going to school! Sure... call it daycare if you want, but their main goal is to educate me and to teach me to be independant, so we call it school. I start tomorrow! Mom is a bit moody today, not sure why, but I know that she is ready to get back to work and get me into a place where I can learn more. But, she is still on edge a bit. I think she likes grabbing hugs from me whenever she wants them. Something tells me I'll get some surprise visits.

My incision is healing wonderfully, my chest bone doesn't seem to want to be flat though, it pokes up a bit. I'm told I need to put on weight and that will help it a bit. I hope so! I still have a few internal stitches that seem to be starting to poke up, but everyone is watching them closely. I also still like to eat about 2 ounces at a time. I know! I know! I need to eat to get big and strong. But, I just don't like to do it. I did surprise Mom and got a big giggle and a lot of pats on the back from her when I ate 4 ounces at one time the other day! I think she thought I was going to keep doing it, but that was a lot and I'm still full! Don't worry. I'll catch up and someday you will all be telling me to exercise to help get rid of the "baby" fat that I'll probably get when I'm a toddler.

Well, that is all that is new with me right now. Getting ready for school is the most excitment. I'll let you know how it goes!!

Love,

Allie
