Happy 4th of July

Okay, so I'm way slow, but that isn't going to stop me from sharing pictures from around the 4th. Here is Allie with her first and second face painting experiences. I'm not sure how they kept her still long enough to do it, but clearly they have skill. Only one of the many reasons I love her school and her teachers!

Waiting for dinner to be served and goofing around with her favorite pal - "DADA" (sometimes also seemingly known to be called "BABA" by Ms. Allie Bai).

There was so much to look at and show Daddy

Is there something you don't like, Allie?

Chillin' to "colorful stars" or fireworks.
(Allie signed "stars" and "colors" at several times)
My baby ain't scared at all!

Hi Allie, and Mommy & Daddy too,

We had a fun 4th of July too. It did have you and Mommy and the other siblings missing from last years 4th, but was nice. Glad you liked the fireworks, they are so pretty. Love, Granma

Dear Allie:

We always love hearing about you, your family, and seeing pictures. Who is that 'funny face' across the table from you?

Keep the updates coming!

Love, Grandpa

Allie, did you enjoy the fireworks again this year? Remember when we watched them together last year, and when we rode in the Sleepy Hollow 4th of July parade to celebrate my 75th birthday?
What fun! … Love you! … Grandpa
